Never been to the westheimer one but as for the one off MILAM in MIDTOWN- If I could give no stars I would... We thought the place was decent at first - until our party of 8 started talking and figuring out that the bartender (who was apparently the GM of the bartenders) was charging people different prices for the same exact drinks WITHOUT giving a receipt. When we confronted her about it she says that when one of us didnt tip on the FIRST DRINK that we ordered she started adding her own tip to the drink prices. When the owner was told of this by our group and he took her to the back and talked to her- she completely LIED about the whole thing and told him we had all not tipped her the entire night and told him we had had way more drinks than we had ordered up to that point to justify pocketing the money for herself (it was not even 12p). HELLO. With a party that large- usually tips are given at the end AND are usually QUITE generous- in our case anyways. THEN she proceeded to (very loudly and deliberately) tell all of the customers at the bar and the other bartenders/waitresses about it. BUT Needless to say we ALL closed our tabs and they WILL NOT be getting ANY of our (or our friends, coworkers, events, etc) business in the future.
