First came JULY 2011 at 11:30 AM. One of us ordered Special of the Day @$14.95 and one of us ordered from breakfast menu @incredibly reasonable $3.95. We also ordered coffee: served freshly brewed in a huge ceramic cup with many refills - from an italian house grind. I drink black coffee and am very particular, and this was good. The main dish was started with an unexpectedly delicious assortment of ethnic dips (think mid-east) and hot bread. The plates came: again, huge. with generous portions served with savior faire by smiling waitresses. One offered us a sample of dessert! which we refused since we were sooo full and anyway, trying to abstain from sugar. I was impressed 3 versions of benchers were available - english, sephardic and ashenazi. While we were there, several other tables were being served: a man and 4 children\r
were eating pizza, and ordered several more to take-out. Two women came in for lunch; a business lunch was under way also.. Everyone got attentive service. The restaurant has an italian menu and many mid-east options. The tables are well spaced. There is a viewing counter where yummy desserts are displayed. The kitchen is supervised. This is a thoughtful and gracious restaurant. By all means, dine here. We are making this a favorite.
