Loved the place, great food, friendly service. We don't have a place like that in Brooklyn. We have similar but not quiet the same. more

The food is quite wonderful, which is why we've gone back, despite slow service in the past. We went with a large family group in the summer of 2011, and again in the summer of 2012 and had the same unbelievably bad experience. \r We all ordered various entrees and pizza. We did not get any of our ordered food for an entire hour!!!\r We were the only people in the restaurant - a group of 14, including young kids who needed to eat.\r They forgot dishes and we had to either forego or wait for them to prepare it after already waiting an hour or more.\r Completely unacceptable service, though the waitress was doing her best, and I don't think she was entirely at fault. There were no attempts to compensate us for our inconvenience.\r We have no intention of suffering through another experience like that again. Fool us once...\r Despite how good the food is, they don't deserve our business. If you do go, don't go hungry - you'll have plenty of time to work up an appetite. more

Truly love this place. Great food, friendly service, wonderful atmosphere. Will be back soon with the rest of my family. Saw their ad on this site and sure happy I did. The Kosher sushi is as good as advertised! Must try it! more

Tried this cozy restaurant a few months back. This time it was even better. The staff were nice and friendly and the food was perfect. Will definitely be coming back again! more

While the good was good, the service, or should I say non-service was deplorable. The place was not crowded but we clearly were not treated as customers. Would never return & cannot, in good faith, reccomend this restaurant. Too bad as the food was good. more

These are really, really good. Get these rather than regular fries, even the kids love them. They serve them with honey, but they don't need any sauce at all. I prefer them with techina. more

Their pizza is delicious. The crust is the right thickness, and just the right amount of cheese and sauce. Yum! more

This is a delicious, freshly prepared wrap of avocado and other vegetables, served with either an Israeli or Greek Salad. The side salad is quite substantial, and the whole meal is very satisfying and a great value for money. more

The wrap is served with techina and a side salad. It's a complete meal, and I often take half the wrap home. The wrap is freshly prepared, the eggplant is lightly breaded, but not oily, and the wrap is just the right size. It's a delicious and satisfying meal and a great value for the money. I highly recommend it. more

First came JULY 2011 at 11:30 AM. One of us ordered Special of the Day @$14.95 and one of us ordered from breakfast menu @incredibly reasonable $3.95. We also ordered coffee: served freshly brewed in a huge ceramic cup with many refills - from an italian house grind. I drink black coffee and am very particular, and this was good. The main dish was started with an unexpectedly delicious assortment of ethnic dips (think mid-east) and hot bread. The plates came: again, huge. with generous portions served with savior faire by smiling waitresses. One offered us a sample of dessert! which we refused since we were sooo full and anyway, trying to abstain from sugar. I was impressed 3 versions of benchers were available - english, sephardic and ashenazi. While we were there, several other tables were being served: a man and 4 children\r were eating pizza, and ordered several more to take-out. Two women came in for lunch; a business lunch was under way also.. Everyone got attentive service. The restaurant has an italian menu and many mid-east options. The tables are well spaced. There is a viewing counter where yummy desserts are displayed. The kitchen is supervised. This is a thoughtful and gracious restaurant. By all means, dine here. We are making this a favorite. more

My husband and I love eating there. I even drag my son and grandkids with us on weekends.\r The food is great (try the baked ziti) and we even have our regular servers (tal and suki) that treat us like family. Can't wait to go there again. more

I have been coming to the restaurant since they opened and the food is amazing. Everything is so fresh and prepared to our taste. Love the salads and the fish is delicious. They have a private room that we used for our business meetings and the service was wonderful. For a restaurant that is opened only two months we give them 2 thumbs up. It's a little bit hard to get to the restaurant but other then that Love it Love it It's about time a kosher vegetarian restaurant opened in our area more

Couldn't wait to try the Milky Cafe. We had been waiting for a Kosher restaurant to open up in the area to be able to eat during our lunch hour. Disappointment does not even describe how bad it was. We went in and there were 3 other table seated with 1 waitress. We seated ourselves and quickly realized she hadn't taken any of the seated tables orders yet. After 20 minutes she finally got around to us and we were very clear with her that we were on our lunch hour and had to get back to work. She told us she would make sure they rushed our order out. The next thing we know 2 tables that had come in after us were served their food and the kitchen had somehow misplaced our order altogether. We sat in that restaurant for over 35 minutes before we started to press for our food. They kept telling us it was coming but nothing came. Meanwhile we could hear the kitchen staff singing Happy Birthday to someone.\r \r 15 minutes later (when we were ready to get up and leave) the waitress brought out 3 of the 4 order and one of them was completely wrong - not even what we ordered! When I said something to the waitress she started screaming at me "take it up with the kitchen - I'm just the waitress." And as the two people who did receive their food - one had a pizza which was BURNED and the other had a sandwich that had bread that was so hard she couldn't bite into it with her teeth. As if the wait wasn't bad enough, now we are treated terrible by the waitress, the food is wrong and inedible and the manager/owner couldn't care less. \r \r I have never written a review about a restaurant before. I have never walked out of a restaurant without paying before. This was and is my LAST EXPERIENCE with this restaurant!! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!!!!!! more
