I visited Dave's shop today. Not knowing anything about pianos walking into Dave's, I walked out not only having purchased a piano, but received a master class in piano construction. I was super impressed with his knowledge on not only the different brands of pianos, but more importantly how they compare to each other. The two other stores that I visited did absolutely nothing to educate me.
Dave literally took apart pianos and removed the entire innards, to show me why some pianos cost $5,000 and while others are $50,000+. I would never spend 50K on a piano, but after I saw the differences piece by piece, I understood why. I have never written a review on-line before. I just feel very compelled to share my positive experience with others. Perhaps that is why I am a bit confused about a review I read before composing this one. I know that shady businesses will sometimes write bogus reviews about their competitors to gain a unfair advantage. THIS MUST BE THE CASE HERE! If you need a piano go and see Dave. I promise you will be amazed as I was.
