I recently went to Piccolo for my birthday dinner, party of 12. We got reservations, but were surprised to learn there was a time limit on our table-on a Thursday night. Our reservations were for 630, and we sat, had dinner and a lot of fun-despite the vastly underwhelming nd apathetic customer service. The food was decent, some dished were better than others-i do not reccomend the lasagna. When 830 came around, the staff at Piccolo rushed us out. There were no parties waiting; yet the server refused to give us coffee or even water after that 830 deadline. For a large party of 12, who obviously have spent hundreds at the restaurant, I found the way we were treated appalling. I will never go back, or recommend it to any visitors to Pittsburgh.
