Preway replaced the compressor on my refrigerator on Feb 22nd (just 5 months ago). This morning all the food in the fridge was room temperature and had to be thrown away. This is a 6 year old top of the line Jennair. I called Preway and asked the receptionist if she could look up who did the repair and have him call me. She said its against their policy. She said I can speak to the service manager. I said ok. She said I'd first have to schedule a visit and would need to provide my credit card as a guarantee. The next available appointment was Wednesday (today is Friday) - NOT like their website says 24hr availability. I explained that I may not want to wait that long, that I'm pregnant and taking medicine that needs refrigeration. I asked again if I can speak to the service manager. She refused. I explained that if the manager thinks the problem sounds like a compressor again, we would stop throwing good money after bad money on repair and buy a new appliance. I asked nicely again. She refused saying its ""policy"" and demanded that I give her my credit card before she'd transfer the call. I got very upset, told her to scr*w herself and hung up.
I'll never use this service again. I called Jennair who recommended them in the first place and filed a complaint and Jennair arranged for another company to come out. No one should have to deal with that rude woman again.
