This is the ONLY vet clinic I could find within 50 miles that would take reptile/snakes on as patients. While the vet didn't know as much about reptiles/snakes as he did about say, dogs or cats, I'm ok with that because they aren't as common of a pet. Between the 2 of us, we were able to determine what to do, and he gave me the prescription to help with my snakes eye infection/wound. He deals with all my snakes, from my little 1 footer ball python juvie up to my 8 ft redtail boa with as much care and gentleness as he would show to any furry 4 legged pet. For that, I am grateful, as I love my snakes and they mean alot to me. \r

The prices are pretty great too. Where my old vet charged $120 for a regular office visit, BVH charged $70 for a visit plus a follow up visit, and the medications were reasonably priced as well. I will definately remain a client as long as I live here.
