No Contest: The WORST Service I've Ever Received... 5/31/2011

I delivered a leather dress to Coco's Leather on November 7, 2010. Since April 2011, the owner has assured me it was repaired and was available for pick-up. After several visits to the shop, it was still not given to me. Finally, the owner told me it would be sent UPS within the week. Around mid-May, I began calling with more frequency. He's very placating, and you honestly believe you'll ""have it the next day."" Today, May 31, I called and, only when faced with a B.B.B. complaint and possible suit via small claims court, the owner agreed to have the dress returned to my shop by day's close. Half an hour later, he called me to admit that no work had been performed on the dress (in nearly 7 months and after repeat assurances that the dress was repaired) and that it would be returned to me ""as is"" - and it was... UNLESS, you are a prolific film director with a huge budget, your account with Coco's Leather Goods will most likely (I can only base this on my personal experience as a small business owner) be held in virtually the lowest regard possible. Without a doubt, this is the most unpleasant and distressing experience I've ever had as a customer. more
