First I have to say I have no problems with Dr. Preston. It's Dr. Slajchert that is the problem. Every experience I've had with him has left me feeling cold. The most recent experience we've had was with our 3-1/2 yr old cat. My daughter took her to due to weight loss and a large abdomnen. This cat has not been out of the house in 4 years. Dr. Slajchert told her she could have fetuses inside her that have not aborted..really????? Then proceeded to tell my 19 yr old daughter that the cat need $1200 exploratory surgery. As I spoke with him on the phone about the situation (sobbing) he had no compassion what so ever for the situation. One of the techs there also made a derogatory comment to my daughter about the situation. Wow! Good job. Could you make someone feel any worse about havIng to do the inevitable??? Needless to say NONE of my animals will go back to this office. DR. PRESTON DO YOUSELF AND YOUR CLIENTS A FAVOR AND GET RID OF DR. JERK.
