As an owner of two BMWs, I needed to find a non-dealer place to get my cars repaired. My 2001 X-5 had been at the dealer many times to stop the 'Check Engine' light that kept coming on. The dealer had told me I needed to train every gas station attendant to put the gas cap on correctly????? (I'm sure I'm going to do that). I stopped by Autohaus and Darby spotted the problem immediately. He said ""Go to the nearest dealer and buy a new gas cap. You can get it cheaper there than I can sell it to you. Bring it back and I will help replace it and check to see if it would solve the problem."" It did, and he didn't charge me a cent for his time or assistance. I was hooked. I have had both my cars there often (not sure it is their issues, more likely just the nature of German built cars). As much as I hate to keep spending money on my cars, I do feel that Autohaus offers the best advice, courtesy, and professional attention of any car repair company I have ever worked with.
