Well, they're criminals. The driver took a friend's car from our spot and charged us a $50 fee to unhook it from the tow. He told us to ""dig deeper"" when we initially had only $42, and when I asked the guy what I could do to get him to unhook the car he told me to step away from the car. It might be cliche to talk about his being on a power trip, but I've never seen a clearer case. Perhaps the worst part is that he towed based solely on the unsubstantiated claims of another person.
