We have gone to A&E for years for both our corporate books and our personal returns. I think people might be misunderstanding Michael's sense of humor. He can be gruff or blunt, but personally I kind of want to have a no-nonsense interaction with the person handling my taxes. And they've always been responsive when I've called or emailed. I'm only knocking off a star because occasionally I have to remind them about something that needs to get done.
As for the negative reviews on this site, here's my theory. When I've done something wrong in Quickbooks or misunderstand a tax or accounting rule, Michael will say flat-out ""Hey. Knock it off."" Which might rub other people the wrong way. So I wonder how many artists (not a group known for fastidious record-keeping) react poorly when someone at A&E gives them a candid assessment of their tax and accounting situation...
