I am an ER md and was googling possible medical seminars that I could attend while traveling to Hawaii with my family. High on the search results is Travel Medical Seminars. It is essentially just an expensive mail based CME course but it presents itself as a travel based cme course. The catch is they will not give any info about the tax implications. Destination CME courses allow participants to write off a portion of the cost of the hotel and airfare. This benefit is implied but not a reality with Travel Medical Seminars. In my opinion it is just expensive CME. more
