I spent $500 for a visit that was supposed to cost $150-200. I had them put in an IUD for me, the initial visit was $120 for me to sit with the doctor for 10 min and her to ask me if I was sure that I wanted an IUD. They did not run tests or even give me a physical. Then wants the IUD came in I had to chase down the lady that had to set up my appointment. After the doctor inserted the IUD she said that she wanted to make sure she put it in the correct place and ask me to go upstairs to get it checked. They ended up do an ultrasound on me. When I went to checkout, the front deck told me that I owed an extra $200 for the ultrasound. I am a college student with a very tight budget and I pay all of my own bills plus school. I felt extremely taken advantage of and the doctor that was not personable. I will never go back it was a horrible experience. Girls avoid at all costs there has to be better doctors in Harrisonburg
