Incredible is the first word that comes to me and my husband's mind when thinking about the help of Steve and Joel Kirsh and their office staff during our adoption process. We had consulted with several agencies when researching adoption and we never felt any of them were a good fit for us. When we left the office of Kirsh and Kirsh, almost simultaneously in the car, my husband and I let out a huge sigh of relief and said ""this is where our child is going to come through"". It was a huge relief to know that Steve and Joel have been helping birthparents and adoptive families find each other for over thirty years....that is the expertise we wanted. We wanted to make sure that the birthmother was treated with the highest respect and that the baby was the focus of doing what was right. We immediately knew that this was the case with Steve Kirsh.
After signing up with Kirsh and Kirsh, every step of the process is thoroughly explained and you are guided through it. We would call or email and have a response to our questions within hours and many times, within MINUTES! It was not unusual to wake up and have an early morning email (like 4am early!) from Steve.
We were blessed to be matched with a birthmother within a month of completing all the necessary steps to be placed on the adoptive family waiting list. Despite our adoption being out of state and thus, us needing to retain an out of state attorney, Steve was still very much involved and helpful as we would often use him as a resource to double check everything.
We have experienced one of the most beautiful things in the world, adopting a beautiful baby, and we are certain that the experience was so great because of the guidance of Steve and Joel Kirsh. We would NEVER recommend going through an adoption without them.
