I'm only giving 1 star because I can't give them less...
I brought my first generations PS3 in to be repaired after it got the “yellow light of death.” After a week they told to be pick it up, and after I took it home it wouldn’t play video games (which is in my opinion the reason a person would buy a PS3 in the first place).
I took it back under their warranty and they told me that I needed a new optical drive. I agreed to the repair and they said that I would be top priority and it would take about a week…
1 month later after I had been calling every week to check on the progress I finally was fed up and told them on a Tuesday that I would be there Friday to pick it up weather it had been repaired or not. They said the new drive STILL WASN’T IN. I told them that in our technical age I’m SURE they could overnight one… they just fed me BS after BS.
I get a call on Thursday saying it’s done! I’m already suspicious at this point… they kept it a month and then magically 2 days later it’s done? Hmm…
I pick it up Friday and they lost my power cable AND the rubber pad that allows the machine to stand on it’s side without falling over. When I brought my machine in it was is perfect condition (aside from what needed repair). It now was scuffed up and had pry marks on the side. I demanded 50% back because they kept it over 30 days AND lost parts!
Vic said it wasn’t his problem, but gave me 50% back
I got home and the machine WASN’T EVEN REPAIRED!
So of course I went back to get the rest of my money.
Vic, the manager I assume, refused to furnish proof that a new drive was even put in my machine. He couldn’t show me a vendor receipt for the item that took over a month to arrive.
When I demanded my money back (and keep in mind he was hiding behind his wall the whole time and yelling at me) he told the other employees not to talk to me at all and he called the POLICE ON ME!!!!!
VIC IS A CROOK and quite frankly a jerk as well.
DON’T EVER GET REPAIRS DONE AT HYPERTECH!!
