I purchased a new Chrysler PT Cruiser back in 2005 and have since racked up approx. 88,000 miles. While driving recently I had a disruption in power with some additional black smoke coming out of the exhaust system. After a thorough diagnostic service it was discovered that a blown PVC valve had polluted the engine spark plugs, etc. Given an array of maintenance options I was pleased with the ultimate solution that kept my car maintenance budget in mind. I was also appreciative of the shuttle service that was made available to accommodate my schedule.
