I have been to this restaurant only once. It was one time too many. It was a slow time, less than 25% busy. You would think service would be good under such circumstances. It was not. I feel for the customer there during primetime. The waitress was mildly friendly and did not know the menu. Service was slow and sporadic. The choice of ambient music seemed very odd for a place with "Blues" in the name.\r \r My partner had ribs that he would not finish. They tasted as if they had been boiled in brine. I know, I sampled the dish. The staff took the criticism badly. I had their signature dish, salmon barbecue I believe in South Carolina style. The salmon and its sauce were expertly done. I assume this to be the case, as I am not familiar with South Carolina style fish barbecue. So much for the compliments on that dish. The accompanying cornbread was the heaviest and oiliest I have ever been served. This was served on a bed of Cajun rice and other Cajun specialties. It was flavorless and was served at tepid to cold temperatures. This rendered the entire dish extremely disappointing and woefully overpriced.\r \r Beware of restaurant managers that describe their wares on their webpages. I think they must be Republicans. more
