Our first trip to Sammy's last night was awesome! The shrimp and grits were the best we ever had and although they were an appetizer, they could easily be a meal with a salad on the side. The sweet potato fries are a MUST try! The blue cheese dressing they are served with is a wonderfully unexpected accompaniment! The Mac-n-cheese was like none we've ever had. Such a wonderful twist on traditional dishes! Sammy is a very creative chef who actually came out and talked with us about the ingredients in the dishes! He also got us the last piece of German chocolate cake that was to die for! We can't wait to try more!
