I am very disappointed with this whole experience. My daughter is a college student in the Austin area and her truck overheated on 35 Friday night. It was pulled totally off on the shoulder and was not impeding traffic in any way. Thinking I would do the right thing, I called 311 per the TDOT's instructions to issue a report and let them know we would have our repair shop pick it up first thing in the morning. The vehicle was towed in less then an hour. I suspect that Soutside was listening to police scanners and heard this. I see cars on the side of the highway all the time ( and just did after dirving down there the next day!).
