We obtained three price quotes to replace our heat pump, air handler, and water heater; the event was not an emergency replacement. C B Lucas was recommended by a neighbor. Of the three, Mr. Mike Lucas, C B Lucas Air Conditioning, Dumfries, VA was the most honest in preparing his estimate. One of the first questions he asked was if our existing, but older, 3 ton heat pump was keeping up with our 100 degree days. I said, "yes." His response was, "You don't need a bigger unit." His was the second price quote we obtained. The other two contractors, neither of whom asked that very important question, recommended larger systems $$$.\r
