I heard about Locket's Meadow and stopped by, with my family, unannounced to take a look. We do not ride, but wanted to see large farm animals up close. The staff took their time in showing us around, introducing us to the animals and educating us about the animals and on the owner's rescue work. We brought carrots and apples and had a lot of fun feeding the animals, not having had much experience interacting with large animals before. It was educational and fun. The animals appeared well cared for, well tempered and clean, and staff seemed to genuinely care about each animal in their care. I'm glad I stopped by to show my children these beautiful animals and we look forward to returning soon.
Pros: friendly, knowledgeable, clean
