I had some old friends come in from out of town this weekend and wanted to take them some place good to eat. My aunt, who is very knowledgeable about such things, recommended Hungry's. I'm glad she did! Everything was just about perfect. Loved the restaurant and the employees! Even the waitress in training was excellent. There are a lot of interesting items on the menu and had a hard time picking just one. Since they only serve brunch on the weekend for a few hours I went ahead and picked the Eggs Florentine. Their Eggs Florentine was two poached eggs on top of chiabata bread covered with spinach sauce and pico on the eggs. It came with a side of roasted potatoes (a mix of potatoes and sweet potatoes) and fresh fruit. I added an order of Applewood sausage which was really good. The fruit was sweet and the eggs and spinach tasted perfect together. The pico was fresh and added a good crunch to each bite.
Really I only have two problems. One, on the first try my eggs were cold. Not room temp but almost chilly towards the center. However, the waiter quickly resolved the issue and I was pleased. Two, the latte I ordered...it just wasn't up to par in either taste or presentation. I was very disappointed because that would have been the icing on the cake and one more star.
All in all my experience here was a really satisfying one and I am already planning my trip back.
