I don't think that I can say enough wonderful things about Dr. Eshima as a doctor and an artist, or his staff.
After trauma to the nose and terrible patch up job by a well reputed surgeon overseas 6 years ago, I had decided that I would never ever go under the knife unless it was to deliver a child!
One day at another Dr.'s office I asked the nurse (who recently had a facelift) about who she thinks the best doctor is. She said ""Oh Dr. Issa Eshima hands down, the best of the best."" She said you can google him and see reviews, but the man doesn't have a website because frankly he didn't need one and all his clients were word of mouth. Interesting I thought, but I was still reluctant and afraid.
Six months later, noticing a slow but sure distortion in my nose I decided to start looking for a surgeon. There was something about Dr. Eshima's reviews that pulled me.
From the minute I walked into his office something felt right..from the walls to the lovely and professional Magaly - his office manager. When I met Dr. Eshima, I was probably his most confused and scared patients...asking a million questions!
Not only did Dr. Eshima so wonderfully answer all my concerns, there is a confidence he had in himself that makes you trust him. THEN I saw his before and after picture. OH MY GOODNESS the results!!! The beautiful and natural looking results!!! People who even had so much done, just looked like better versions of themselves. His eye sees more detail in your face than you yourself would ever be able to articulate. That's what he does, he pays attention to every tiny detail.
That was it for me, the meeting that day...my instinct told me, OK..,if there will be a doctor only he will be the one. I made my decision....I didn't even bother to go to another doctor for a consultation.
Counting up to the surgery, Dr. Eshima and Magaly took such good care of me. Magaly was there for me and my nerves in the most professional and caring manner - and I tell you the woman is informed about everything! She is amazing.
The day of the surgery Dr. Eshima was there with a big smile and briefly went over what all we talked about. When I was finally wheeled into the surgery room, a little drowsy and ready to doze off I saw Dr. Eshima putting up the pictures and details I had given him AND my wish list that I had written to him! How amazing I thought..but before I could speak I was out.
When I woke up his sweetheart nurse Grace was by my side and took such good care of me through my post op nausea - that I wanted to pack her up and bring her home! Dr. Eshima personally came by to see how I was doing and through my woozy state I heard him reassure my husband about the surgery. Every day post-op for 2 weeks Magaly called me to check in on me. Never for a second did I feel alone, even Kathy new at the front desk was there so kindly and efficiently to assist me with any concern.
Today I am 2 months post op healing so well and absolutely THRILLED with the results! People have looked at me and smiled and asked me if I have lost weight! People who knew cant stop saying what a beautiful job he has done, and my family members say that I look a lot like when I was eighteen - THAT is a compliment!!....And the most amazing part is my nose is actually still swollen and the end result is months away!!
Dr. Eshima is beyond a gifted surgeon, he is an artist with an sharp aesthetic sense of facial beauty. An honest ethical man, who pays much attention to what you want. I feel so lucky to have found him....I would recommend him to anyone in the world.
I have seen people around me get surgery, mothers friends, my own friends. I can safely say with the bottom of my heart, that not only does he have the best results in the US - the man is one of the most talented surgeons in the world. God gave him an eye and hands to do this work, and one would be lucky to have him as their doctor. May God always bless you Dr. E......!!
