My expereinces with gyms started over two years ago. I was 420lbs and getting a divorce. I got locked in at Fitness USA for 30 months at $43.00/month! Although I lost over 200lbs the gym was horrible. I then moved to Macomb and got a membership at Worlds, and they canceled my membership because the owner was running out of money and sold it to his lanlord, but still runs it! I also have a Powerhouse membership at $12.00/month that I got in on when the economy crashed. But the atmosphere sucks! I recently visited Xtreme fitness and found everyone to be xtremely nice and helpful! I have a membership now and love working out at the gym. Good people and great atmosphere. Well worth the $34.00/month.
