Terrible experience! 6/11/2010

1st Visit: I went to Jaremko Nissan looking to purchase a 2007 Nissan Murano that I saw online for a nice price and low miles. So my wife and I proceeded to test drove it and decided that we liked it and would like to see if they could work with us on getting the price where we needed it to be. So we go inside to the negotiating table and we ask for them to come down on price or up on trade-in value by around $2,000. So the saleman goes and talks to his manager and comes back with, get this, a counteroffer that is $900 MORE then their original offer!! They decided that my trade-in was worth $900 less than what they first quoted, and that they ""can't budge"" on the Murano's sales price because they are already losing $200 on that price. So, obviously, we just got up and left since they weren't willing to work with us at all. 2nd Visit: So about a week later I see on the internet that the Murano's price dropped $600. I call the salesman to see if we can reopen the negotiation since the price has dropped. I tell him to ask his manager if they can come down $500 more on the Murano price or up $500 on my trade-in. I get to the dealership and test drive the car again just to make sure that I still love the car. Which I do. So we head back inside and he tells me that they won't be able to come down from the price or give me more for my trade-in. The salesman tells me that the Murano was mispriced on the internet and it will be $2,000 more the next day. Yeah right. So I tell him that I want to speak to his manager in person. The manager comes in and I explain to him that I feel dissatisfied with their unwillingness to work with me on the deal. He doesn't care. He tells me that I should just go sell my trade-in car somewhere else. I tell him that I would prefer to trade it in with them as a package deal. More convenient that way. All I need is for him to reduce the overall deal by $500 and I will buy the murano instantly. He doesn't care. He says that he will increase the trade-in value by $100!! So I ask him if he is seriously going to not sell me this car because he doesn't want to budge another $400. He says yes. So I got up and left the dealership immediately. A customer deserves to be treated with more respect than that. I've never heard of a car dealership not willing to come down at all on the sales price. This had to be the worst customer service experience I've ever had. Keeping a customer satisfied isn't worth $400 to them. Wow. So needless to say I will never do business with Jaremko Nissan again, and neither will any of my friends, family, or business associates. Pros: They had the car I wanted for a reasonable price Cons: I got treated with the worst customer service of my life more
