Sorry, but i feel this is important enough to write about. This concerns the SEATTLE VISION CLINIC on Jackson Street . I have been a customer since 1968, and now have my own children, which i still bring there....But.....now...Seattle Vision Clinic office staff has been over the last several years, quite rude about simply making appointments with our DSHS insurance coupon. It stems from louldly talking in their quiet office about our insurance information. Little things like have we brought our coupon from the ""State""? Even last year comments like your State coupon is very limited, and does not pay them much. I guess it always feels we are treated different because we are using DSHS low income insurance coupon.. I noticed it is always a little uncomfortable to have our names and insurance information louldly talked, exposing our DSHS status, while other staff look at us like we should have to pay more, only we are the very poor people, and are, or, of a different nature to the staff. The eye doctors are good, but there clinic staff seem to always have problems on professional maners with other DSHS coupon holders as well., because they have so many more customers, since they also accept DSHS coupons, even in 1968. Every time we check in, everyone listens and can here we are DSHS coupon holders, because the staff needs to say insurance information so louldly, but funny thing is, it is always quiet inside That in mind, after this last event which happened at the Seattle Vision Clinic on Jackson street. I am giving a very low rating because of my last encounter with the staff there, here is what hapened this year:
Pros: very quiet
Cons: staff treats people with DSHS insurance different
