I've taken my BMW to at least 3 other repair shops around Portland and I have Mixed feelings on Auto Haus. They really take the time to explain to you what they replaced and what kinds of symptoms you should have been experiencing. HOWEVER, they don’t typically communicate the side of the car well and often replace things that don’t need replacing.\r

I recently needed to replace a ball joint on the passenger side front control arm. The original shop I took it too called this the “right” side of the car (standard for the car industry is if you’re inside the car). I thought this was the same part I replaced only a year ago so I called up Auto Haus and talked to them. They side it should be a straight forward warranty issue and would most likely be free. So I took my car back into Auto Haus only to find out the part they replaced was the “left” or Driver side. Auto Haus was going to replace the ENTIRE control arm costing about $560. DynaSport was able to just replace the bushings and the ball joint saving me $450! \r

My advice to Auto Haus is don’t replace things that don’t need replacing just because it’s easier or you get more money out of it. \r
Pros: take the time to explain what they replaced and symptoms
Cons: often replace things that don’t need replacing.
