I too have had problems with lack of responsiveness on custom orders. I placed an order for a custom piece I was giving to a friend for a special occasion. I was given 4 different dates by which it would be ready. I had to repeatedly call and physically walk into the store to try to nail down an actual pick up date. The final result wasgorgeous so I asked Kerry to make one for me as well. It's been over a month and I haven't heard hide nor hair from her. I've left a couple of messages for her to call. No response. The aggravation of constantly calling to find out whether you'll ever get your piece and the constant missing of delivery dates sucks all the joy out of receiving the final product. It's too bad because she's a gifted artist with a lovely store. A simple follow up by her or her staff to let a customer know the status of an order is just plain good business, not to mention common courtesy. My recommendation... if you're willing to purchase off the shelf, go to her store. If you want custom work done, go elsewhere ... unless you're willing to wait and wonder for months on end.
