We have done business with SCFCU since 1984, when it was still SC Naval Shipyard Credit Union. I have nothing but good to say about them. We haven't lived in SC since 1986, but we kept an account there because they have been so helpful. When we lived overseas they were always helpful and have been so ever since. When we married, neither of us had a credit record, but SCFCU had a record of my husband's house loan from nearly 8 years earlier, so they gave us a car loan based on that! I suspect we will keep an account open w/ them for many, many years to come!
