My daughters danced here for going on ten years. I have been so very impressed with the quality of the dances, but more importantly, I have been witness to a rare quality. The owner (Deborah Agrusa) has imparted upon her dancers the most important characteristics that can be taught: 1) Hard work pays off and 2) Integrity and character are the overriding values in life. The dancers who graduate from Deborah's have embodied these values in their lives after DSD, and it shows. \r
In addition, without compromising the values she espouses, Deborah continues to develop her students by encouraging them to achieve skills well above what they ever thought they would accomplish. The self-confidence these kids achieve is remarkable. She has been accused of being tough. I'd say she raises the bar, for her own students and for dance in general. This studio is not for everyone, but if you have a child who loves to dance, please visit Deborah's Stage Door. You will be better off for it!\r
