My experince with Kar Tek was great! My old Mustang failed its smog test inspection so rather than have to take it to another place to get it fixed Kar Tek was able to do the necessary emissions repair at their shop in North Hollywood. I had to leave my car overnight, but when I pickd it up the next day they told me they rotated my tires and topped off all my fluids for free! I was not thrilled to learn my muffler had a hole and needed to be replaced, but hey my car passed its smog check and I'm happy agin.
