Dishonest stores. They shortened a gold watch for me, and kept the 5 grams of gold that they cut off the band. I had made sure in advance that they understood that their price estimate for the work didn't include their keeping the scrap gold that was left over. But then they kept the fifth of ounce of 14k scrap gold and refused to admit that they essentially stole about $200 in gold from me after charging me full price for the goldsmithing work. The manager then told me the gold they kept wasn't worth much because gold was going to go down in price. Quite the opposite has happened, and gold has gone up 50% in price since then. The sales people and clerks working in there just stood there smirking while the manager was telling me this b.s. What's worse is that I was a good customer and had spent over $2000 there over the course of a year. I haven't gone back to that low class next of crooks since.
