we have been sitting in there office for over 2 hours waiting to sign a lease when we realized that the apartment was rented through a different brokerage company, they claimed they have exclusives and they said they worked with that landlord for years.
not only that they lied to us they told us we can use our deposit for a another apartment and the agent didn't want to pay us back. - so we filed a complaint with the department of state and with small claims court
a day after they got the court date... and guess what they called us asking us to come pick up our check.
