The look of Beaterville from the street was the best part of the experience. Somebody referred me to this place as a good place for a home style breakfast but I found it to be disappointing. I sampled the meals from everyone in my party and in general, the food was devoid of flavor, came in small portions, and was not worth the price. The potatoes were simply fried wedges, a bag of frozen tater tots would have been better. The sausage gravy tasted like it came from a can. I'm not sure what the biscuits were but they weren't doughy, or flakey, or filling. They were more like a croissant pancake that was hard to cut. And the omelets might have been made from two eggs, but it's doubtful. And to finish it off, our dark haired waitress had a chip on her shoulder and acted like we were a bother just for having walked through the door. There was a very nice gentleman with long hair who was prompt with the coffee and made us feel welcomed. Stay home and fry your own eggs.
