Finding the Tip Top packed, my co-workers and I decided not to wait and to pop into Due Amici. We were seated right away. The food was excellent and the server was good; however, when I bit into a piece of bread I had soaked in the olive oil mixture I felt a pain in my tooth. I removed the item from my mouth and found it to be a small chuck of glass. I alerted my server who asked if I was okay and I was so I did not complain. I was suprised that the manager did not come out to speak to me and even more suprised that I had to pay full price. I wonder if my co-workers and I swallowed more glass than I had found and if there was glass in other diner's food, as well. All in all, I think for as fine of a resturant that Due Amici thinks it is....they treat their customers very poorly. I love the food but after my experience yesterday, I doubt I will be going back!
