Find another place to do business. I wouldn't send my worst enemy to this place.
My first 2 fittings went well as we tried different ideas. At my third fitting (of six quoted) I was so horribly treated by Joyce (seamstress/owner) that I couldn't stop crying and snot was literally running down my face as I stood there clutching my half-finished dress. Joyce tried to make me feel bad for not liking the ideas she suggested - stating that if I still wanted input in the design then she refused to help with the design. She made me feel as I had over stayed my welcome and tried to make me feel guilty for wanting to have a ""say so"" in how the dress was to end up.
She criticized my ideas, saying "" It was such an awful idea you suggested the last time you were here that I had to WALK RIGHT OUT OF THIS ROOM"".
In the end the dress was not released to us until we payed in full (500$) and the dress was not even completed. When we tried to talk to the manager (Marv) about it he was immediately on the offensive, saying that customer service was ""out the door ten years ago"" and that all they had to do was complete the job. Again, I left the store in tears.
I was so traumatized at this point that I never wanted to go back into their place. I sent a friend in to get my file (which they originally said I could have). They were extremely rude to her, and refused to give her my file unless I came in to get the file myself. I walked in shaking and upset and asked for the file and he walked over to the file cabinet and slammed it shut and said that I would have to contact his attorney, but then said he didn't have to give me the name or number of said attorney, adding that even if I tried anything, he went to court over things like this all the time, so ""good luck.""
Easily the worst experience as a customer I have ever had.
