It has been some months since dining at Wong's King, but I can almost taste the sugary-sweet food like it was yesterday. The hot and sour soup had so much cornstarch that it coated my mouth like...well you can imagine. The egg rolls tasted kind of like cabbage twinkies. The lemon chicken was lovely white meat fried chicken breast completely drowned in 'lemon sauce' which is comparable to the lemon gel in a lemon-meringue pie. It was served on top of shredded iceberg which, becoming hot from the chicken, scented the whole thing with a strange musty smell. I desperately attempted to wipe the lemon candy sauce off of the chicken before it permeated the crisp breading but it was impossible. We had plenty of leftovers-but we left them on the table. What a shame.
