I have been coming to the Jefferson St. Ole' Ole' for about 2 and a half years and 50+ visits and was appalled when I read the deceptive and inaccurate reviews of this restaurant. I am not the review-writing type, but felt that I had to say something because of the fantastic experiences I have had. Wonder why the place is so busy on Friday nights? It is BECAUSE of the good food and exceptional service dumb dumbs. I sometimes visit for dinner only after work and sometime I visit to suck down a few of their delicious margaritas. In either instance, the service, food and drinks have always been exceptional. What, did you have a bad day guy? Go kick your dog...don't purposely go out of your way to try to slander and beat down the hard-working restaurant folk of Portland. You from California guy? Move back. And, you have the gall to accuse the employee of stealing from the till? Nice work Detective Palumbo. Unbeleivabley naive and childish comment. I have gotten to know a couple of the employees and frankly, they aren't the vegas vault thieves you are trying to imply...Bottom line is this: Great food, drinks and service. Give it a try and I guarantee you'll be back.
