Mardel has an unbeatable selection, but only twice has an employee offered assistance. I've spent quite a lot in there and have gone probably ten times in the last eight months. No one has ever said hello. I now have such low expectations that I go in there, browse, and usually leave as soon as I find what I'm looking for. A very big contrast with other Christian bookstores, that is FOR SURE. Plus, they don't run the specials which the hdqtrs. store does. It's religious but I wouldn't call it Chr. sorry, but that's my opinion based on all my visits there. And I'm a very outgoing person who asks for help if I need it (I don't shop, get mad, & leave mad & then blame others for my bad experience)!
