Citrus is a ""go to"" place for my friends and I when we can't decide where to go for dinner or brunch and/or weren't up for crowded dining areas and long lines. We like that there's ample space and several great choices on the menu. I almost always order the Citrus Chopped Salad.\r

This past Sunday a few friends and I went for brunch and I'm sad to say I was disappointed. The Citrus Chopped Salad was lacking in the wonderful toppings -pumpkin seeds, jicama, avocado, sweet potatos and manchego cheese - that make it so tasty and flavorful. There was barely any manchego on our salads and everything else was sparse. The moment we brought this to our waiter's attention he seemed to catch on immediately and it made me wonder if due to the economy, they have knowingly cut back on ingredients.....In any event, as always, the service was fantastic and our waiter brought us up cups of manchego and avocado to add to our plates of lettuce. Ultimately I had a pretty good chopped salad but I still elft feeling a bit disappointed over one of my favorite ""standys.""
Pros: Good food, great service, nice large space
Cons: Salad had a lot of lettuce and not a lot of anything else
