After an hour wait, the hygenist took me to the dirty exam room and started xraying me without letting me know what she was doing - she started doing a full-mouth set of xrays without telling me what she was doing. She messed up three of them "because I was biting down too hard" (?), and after about 10 of them (I've never had more than 2 xrays at a single dental appointment in my life), I asked her what she was doing. She gave me quite the attitude and guilt trip (she told me I could have all sorts of undiagnosed bad diseases) after I told her I only wanted the cavity-showing xrays. She then proceeded to give me the most painful cleaning I have ever gotten, despite this dentist making a point to say his specialty is pain-free dentistry. She also refused to hold my lip when putting the flouride on my teeth, so my lip got caught in the spinning brush thing three times - painful.
I was then told the dentist could not see me for an exam because he was "really busy". I had already nearly walked out of the appointment three times by this point, and finally the hygenist yelled at the top of her voice "ALLEEEXXX!!!", and then dentist came in in dirty black jeans, a dirty shirt, no exam coat, etc. He told me to open my mouth, and with no light and no leaning back of the exam chair, said "you've got great teeth!" which I know is not the case. He took a look at the xrays and said to the hygenist, "that's a cavity, right?" Wow.
He then proclaimed that I had two tiny cavities and one cracked one and that if I made another appointment he could fix them up "lickety split" or something like this. I waited five minutes for the hygenist to come back to release me from my bib and apron, but she never did so I took them off myself, cleaned up, and walked out.
Either every one of the many dentists I've been to over the years has been absolutely top-notch and this dentist is par for the course, or those dentists were average and this dentist is absolutely awful. I tend to think it is the latter. Choose another dentist if possible.
