There are two good things I will say about Dr Scheffel's office: The dental hygienists at his office are AMAZING -- so sweet and kind and helpful. He is also amazing with needles -- you don't feel a thing when he gives you Novocain.
Other than that, my experiences there have been rather scary. Once, he shot me full of Novocain and then proceeded to leave me in the chair alone for two hours. When he came back, I was completely unnumb and he had to do another round of shots. A few years later, when he said I had cavities, I asked him some questions about why I would be getting them and how I could change my behavior -- when he wouldn't respond, I asked for another reference and he refused. When I went to another dentist, he was surprised that a dentist had said I had cavities and it turned out that I didn't need to get them filled. Sketchy!
