Learning how to dance was my summer resolution, so I took a 6 week intro belly dance class to learn the basics before I started the weekly drop in class. I'm sort of uncoordinated normally, but my instructor Keisha was really sweet and patient. She broke things down in a way that I could understand and I was able to improve significantly over the course of the class. I recommend the 6 week series as a way to learn some fundamentals in a small, easygoing environment. And most of all, it was fun!
