I had a wonderful, loving Quaker Parrot who suddenly became ill on 5-15-09. Petsmart told us the only avian was Dr Hall at Devonshire. My daughter called and left a message. Dr Hall called back about 20 minutes later and said it was a respiratory infection, but we needed to take him to Indy because she wanted off work early and didn't have time to mess with it. She also told my daughter that if he got the meds soon he could be saved! So...instead of showing compassion and love for this dear buddy of mine, she blew him off....30 minutes later, he died. Her office is 10 minutes away. We have turned her in to PETA, the BBB and will continue to get this matter taken care of. If she has no compassion, she shouldn't have her license....even leaving the medicine for us to pick up would have been fine with us, and there is a chance that Pip would still be with us. And...btw...the only reason I gave them 1 star is because I could not submit without it.
