A group of my colleagues and I had lunch at Maggie Rita's on Saturday, May 2nd. When we arrived we were the only patrons in the restaurant. We were promptly seated, but had to wait about 10 minutes for someone to come get our drink order and another 20 minutes for someone to take our food order. I ordered the shrimp salad, but it was delivered missing 3 ingredients and I had to ask twice for them to deliver dressing. Another person received the wrong entree entirely. The service was exceptionally bad- she didn't know the menu and had no desire to try to improve our experience. We hadn't planned on leaving much of a tip, but then surprise, we were charged 21% gratuity. There are great Tex-Mex and Mexican restaurants in Houston. This is not one of them- you have much better options!
