Just returned from another great sale at Margie Beegle Sales where I loaded up on old flower pots and other gardening treasures. I almost didn't go because it was such a glorious gardening morning and most of the photos of the sale didn't look that interesting (the 70s are WAY too close to my era and I'm still having trouble thinking of them as vintage!). But there were all those clay pots just calling my name. As usual I managed to pick up a few other little ""can't do without"" items including some fabulous old gardening books and splendid vintage Christmas decorations. \r

I love the way the people who work her sales are so enthusiastic and helpful and seem to always point out something I would have missed (especially Travis---gotta love him!). They always look like they're having fun while working (duh! what's not to like about being surrounded all day by piles and piles of bodacious stuff and more stuff and more stuff!). A few weeks ago I really scored on several nice pieces of antique crystal for Christmas gifts and wonderful vintage patio furniture at prices I couldn't believe. That's the best thing about Margie Beegle Sales. Seems there's always a bargain and I've been able to furnish my home with great cottage looking pieces almost completely from her estate sales. She puts on the best estate sales in Houston and I've grown to depend on them for a regular treat. Keep up the good work.
Pros: always a good selection; friendly & helpful staff; frequency of sales; good prices (and GREAT end of sale mark-downs)
Cons: I can't get to ALL the sales!
