Hole in the wall, but I love it 2/21/2009

The portions are huge and most of the food is great. They are very generous with the amount of meat in most of the dishes. The restaurant pretty much has no ambiance and it is very casual, but the people are nice in a reserved. A good cleaning would be nice. I also don't like all the canned mushrooms they use (they use canned mushrooms for all their mushrooms, not just the asian mushrooms).I didn't like the taste of some things, but most are great. I recommend the following dishes: Wonton Soup, Sweet and Sour Soup, Salt and pepper shrimp (or squid), Bean curd beef, spicy chicken, mango chicken, and green beans with garlic. The seafood hotpot is AMAZING. It is also probably the healthiest thing on the menu and it tastes wonderful. I haven't enjoyed the noodle dishes (seemed flavorless) and I don't like their curries. The curries taste very different than thai curries and it could be that they make them exactly ""right"" and I just don't like the flavor... but I have a hard time imagining that they are supposed to have large chunks of barely cooked onion in them. Pros: yummy food, large portions, good prices Cons: too many canned vegetables more
