Getting a good teacher is 50/50. 2/27/2009

Both of my kids attend school here and have been going here for about 3 years. The only problems that I have is the 1 - 2 year old age group. When my son was in that group there was not enough educational or stimulating activies to keep the kids from just getting bored and fighting all day. They fought over toys a lot in his class rooms. I was told that they don't do instructional learning at that age because the kids won't sit still. His previous daycare Kindercare had 18 mth old kids doing daily crafts, coloring, and learning colors and shape. Of course they were way more expensive so you get what you pay for. Once he graduated into the 3 year old age group they have instructional learning and my son is adding subtracting reading simple words writing daily and his class is learning phonics in english and spanish. This is a good option for kids older than 3 and younger than 15mths. But parents remember that you have to stay on top of teachers if they are not treating your kids right. If you kid is coming home with diaper rashes, scratches etc. you need to contact the director. I have had these issues and they were resolved immediately. Management staff is very responsive to parent complaints and they are quick to fire a teacher for mistreating kids. over the years we have had really good teachers and really crappy teachers but the teachers they have now are way better than the ones they had when we first started. Pros: Great price, great hours for working parents, healthy food choices Cons: not enough stimulating curriculum for smaller children more
