Poor Communication Poor Service 11/3/2009

A week ago had consultation appt. with Dr. Julie Kim (waited for 35 days for this appt. calling daily to see if there were any cancellations as time was of the essence). Day of appt, showed up on time to find out she needed to deliver a baby. Not happy but, I understand. Finally got in to see Dr. Kim and not even 3 minutes later, there was someone banging on the door telling her she needed to go to another procedure. My consult appt. was rushed. Needed to have the procedure done asap as my health is at risk. Showed up for my appt. on time and on Zanax and Percoset (medications I was told to take 1 hour prior to procedure and that I horribly hate to take as I do not care for much medicine in my body). I was brought in to Dr. Kims office at 3:25, told that it would be a little bit as the procedure room was being utilized. Dr. Kim comes in about 3:30 to tell me she was canceling my appt. My husband closed his practice at 2pm in order to take care of our children and my friend drove from Riverside to take me to my appt. This office has poor communication skills amongst each other and Dr. Kim is so busy that she should consider closing her practice in order to give adequate attention to her current patients.
